Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Gambler's Edge ("we", "us"). By subscribing or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

Gambler's Edge sends automated alerts about live NBA and WNBA point totals to you on Telegram or Discord. Alerts are information and opinion produced by a statistical model. They are not financial, investment or betting advice, and they are not a promise or guarantee of any result. Past alerts do not predict future ones, and you can lose money betting on any alert.

We do not accept, place or settle bets, hold funds, or act for any sportsbook. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NBA, the WNBA, any team or any sportsbook. Team and league names are used only to identify games.

2. Who can subscribe

You must be at least 21 years old, or the legal gambling age where you live if that is higher, and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you, including whether sports betting is legal where you are. Don't use the service where it is prohibited.

3. Your subscription is personal

A subscription is for one person. Your Telegram and Discord links are tied to your subscription: don't share it, and don't resell, republish, forward or redistribute alerts, in whole or in part. Each alert carries a short reference tied to your subscription, so a shared alert can be traced to it, and we may end a subscription whose alerts are shared. You're responsible for keeping your Telegram and Discord accounts secure.

4. Free trial, billing and automatic renewal

• New subscribers get a 7-day free trial, or a longer one when we offer it (for example until a week into a new season); the end date is shown at checkout and in /account. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your paid subscription starts automatically and your payment method is charged. During a trial that starts without a payment method, the trial simply ends, with no charge, unless you add one before it ends.
• Your subscription renews automatically every month at $14.99 USD / $21.99 CAD a month, plus any applicable taxes, until you cancel. You authorize us, through our payment processor, to charge your payment method each period.
• Cancel anytime by sending /manage to our bot, or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. You won't be charged again after cancelling.
• If a payment fails, we may pause or end your access until it succeeds.
• Breaks in the schedule: if there's an extended stretch with no NBA or WNBA games, we may pause billing for all members. You aren't charged for a paused period, and we'll tell you through the bot before a pause starts and when billing resumes.

5. Price changes and founding members

We may change the price for new subscribers at any time. If we change the price of an existing subscription, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you can cancel before the change applies. Founding members keep the price they joined at for as long as their subscription stays active; if a founding subscription is cancelled or lapses, rejoining is at the current price.

6. Refunds

Payments are non-refundable and we don't give credits for partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise. If we permanently discontinue the service, we'll refund the unused part of any period you've paid for.

7. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to send every alert promptly but can't guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. Data feeds, Telegram, Discord, our hosting and our own systems can fail or be delayed, games can be missed, and live lines change quickly. Always check your sportsbook's current number before you bet. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service.

8. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service: no scraping, reverse engineering, interfering with its operation, creating multiple trials, or using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or end a subscription that breaks these terms. If we end it without cause, we'll refund the unused part of your current period.

9. Our content

The alerts, model output, website and bot are owned by us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own non-commercial purposes while you're subscribed.

10. Third-party services

Payments are handled by Stripe and alerts are delivered through Telegram and Discord. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them, and we're not responsible for their services or for any sportsbook you choose to use.

11. Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any betting or other financial losses, arising from your use of the service or reliance on any alert. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Some states and provinces don't allow certain limitations, so some of this may not apply to you.

13. Indemnity

You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs brought against us that arise from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service, to the extent the law allows.

14. Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time by cancelling. We can end these terms or your access if you break them, or if we discontinue the service. Sections 6 and 9 to 16 continue to apply after the agreement ends.

15. Disputes

If you have a problem, contact us first and we'll try to resolve it within 30 days. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your state, province or territory that can't be waived by contract.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll give subscribers at least 14 days' notice through the bot or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the updated terms; if you don't agree, you can cancel.
