Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Gambler's Edge ("we", "us") collects, how we use it and the choices you have. We collect as little as we can: we don't run our own customer database, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

• Subscription and billing: your email address, billing details and subscription status. These are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Telegram: the chat ID our bot uses to message you, stored with your subscription record at Stripe, and the commands you send the bot. Telegram also shows us the name and username on your Telegram account when you message the bot; we don't store them. We can't read your other chats.
• Discord (if you use it): your Discord user ID, stored with your subscription record at Stripe, and the commands you send the bot. Connecting adds you to our private server so the bot can message you; it has no channels or member list, so other members can't see you there. We can't read your other messages.
• Waitlist: your email address, if you join the waitlist.
• Support: anything you choose to send us by email.
• Technical data: our hosting provider automatically logs requests to this website, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and troubleshooting. These logs are kept for a short time.

This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. Stripe's checkout page uses the cookies it needs to process payments and prevent fraud. If you arrive through a partner's link, we keep one cookie with that partner's code for 60 days, so they're credited if you join; it holds nothing about you.

How we use it

• To provide the service: create your subscription, link it to Telegram or Discord and send you alerts.
• To bill you, manage your trial, renewals and cancellations, and send service messages.
• To answer your questions and tell you about changes to the service or these policies.
• To keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with:

• Service providers that run the service for us, under their own privacy terms: Stripe (payments), Telegram and Discord (message delivery) and our hosting and email providers.
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect rights, safety and property.
• A successor, if the service is sold or transferred, under this policy.

Where it's stored

Our service providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries. If you're in Canada, your information may be processed outside Canada and be subject to the laws of those countries.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you're subscribed and afterwards only as long as needed for the purposes above, including tax, accounting and legal requirements. Billing records are kept by Stripe under its own retention rules.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards and rely on providers with strong security practices, including Stripe for payment data. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your rights and choices

• Stop messages at any time by blocking or deleting the bot.
• Cancel with /manage in the bot.
• Access, correct or delete your information, or get a copy of it, by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example California or other US states with privacy laws, or Canada), you may have these and other rights, including to withdraw consent or appeal a decision. We'll respond within the time the law requires, may need to verify your identity, and won't treat you differently for using your rights.
• If you're in Canada and aren't satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial privacy regulator.

Age limit

The service is only for people 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is material, we'll let subscribers know through the bot or by email before it takes effect.
